Welcome to Kindergarten!
This year, we will have many fun adventures as we explore writing, reading, math, science, social studies, and more together! 🌟 I have planned numerous enriching activities to ensure your little one has an exceptional kindergarten experience.
Our curriculum:
We follow Heggerty for phonological awareness, which teaches all the skills related to sounds and the manipulation of sounds in spoken words. These activities are the first steps to developing reading skills.
Our phonics curriculum is UFLI. In phonics, we focus on developing the skills that relate spoken sounds to written letters.
For vocabulary enrichment, we follow the Wonders curriculum, which provides numerous vocabulary learning lessons and activities.
Our math curriculum is Zearn, which combines digital, paper, and interactive activities.
For science, we follow Mystery Science and Inquisitive, both curriculums aligned with our science standards, providing lots of hands-on activities which promote the students' curiosity and love for science.
I integrate all these curriculum lessons through games, hands-on activities, and engaging exercises to promote a fun and interactive learning experience for our kindergarteners.
